An incedible piece of motorcycle history from a rare real photo postcard.

(L-R) 1910 Pierce, 1915 Harley-Davidson & 1914 Excelsior motorcycles

John S. Berryman was a Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealer and later an auto dealer who also
raced Harleys. He was also part of the ORIGINAL National Capitol Motorcycle Club of Washington
DC. He once held a race called the Berryman Run. We believe that he is the person on the
Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Berryman's Harley Davidson Dealership was located at 912 9th Street N.W., Washington DC
(possibly the site of the old Washington Convention Center). In 2005 The old Washington
Convention Center was imploded and a parking lot was erected in its place, which today
hosts special events. Past events include: holiday bazaars, sporting events, concerts and
open air markets, across from the Marriott Renaissance Washington DC Hotel.
